Well, if you have spent anytime at all behind the scenes of a Drupal based web site, you've met Views. http://drupal.org/project/views. Every site I've ever worked with uses Views for presenting most of it's data. Views is basically a query builder, that allows you to get the information from your database and display it the way you want to.
First Upgrade from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7
Submitted by techgirlgeek on Sat, 2012-05-19 16:56This week I upgraded my site from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7. It was quite a bit easier than my worst fears, which is definitely a good thing. Before you do anything, make sure all the modules you have installed and are still using, have a Drupal 7 version. If so, this should be a fairly painless operation. I was lucky in the fact that my site is a pretty simple one. Great place to start of course.
